Dr. Teale Orme was born and raised in Park City, Utah. She completed her undergraduate education at Dartmouth College in 2010 majoring in Native American Studies and minoring in Women’s and Gender Studies. She completed a pre-veterinary post-baccalaureate program at the University of Vermont in 2011. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis in 2016. During veterinary school she was a co-founder of the veterinary branch of a One Health Clinic that served the human and animal health needs of a nearby agricultural community. After vet school, Dr. Orme was happy to return to Utah to the majestic Wasatch mountains and the southern Utah desert. Dr. Orme worked as an Associate Veterinarian at Willow Creek Pet Center in Cottonwood Heights for two years before joining White Pine Veterinary Clinic. She enjoys building relationships with White Pine’s clients and their furry family members! Her special interests include preventative veterinary medicine, ultrasound, general surgery, and senior care.
Dr. Orme lives in Salt Lake City with her husband Zach and their rez dog Chaco. She enjoys spending time with her family, trail running, skiing, hiking, and going to outdoor concerts.
