Dr. Davis is originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania. She was raised in Wilkes-Barre ( about 30 minutes from Scranton, which might sound familiar for any fans of the “The Office” ). She stayed close to home to earn her undergraduate degree in Biology from King's College. Her first exposure to the veterinary industry was working as a receptionist for her local veterinarian during her collegiate years. She continued her time there as a technician during the year after she graduated. She then made her leap to St.Kitts, West Indies where she studied veterinary medicine at Ross University. She spent 28 months on -island for her pre-clinical studies and then completed her clinical rotations at the University of Florida (Go Gators!). She spent a few months following graduation doing part-time General Practice medicine before moving back to the Northeast to complete a one-year rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, NJ, which at the time was the largest private practice in the country. She received training in countless specialties; the majority of her time being spent with Emergency and Critical Care. After a long year and a 13’ snowfall that winter, Dr. Davis decided to make the move back south. She spent the last 5 years practicing veterinary medicine in the Charlotte area, NC. As sad as she is to leave her life in the southeast, she is so excited to join the incredibly talented team at White Pine!
In her leisure, Dr. Davis loves to exercise (CrossFit and HIIT training are her jam) and spending time outdoors while hiking and paddle boarding. Dr. Davis loves to eat and can be found exploring local restaurants, be sure to tell her your favorite! A former avid dancer and figure skater, Dr. Davis loves to participate in dance workshops and is looking forward to lacing up her skates once more.
Dr. Davis looks forward to visiting with you and your fur babies and providing the highest quality veterinary care to your pets!
