Rates for Boarding are $29.00 / day for dogs and $19.00/ day for cats. Please note since animals are taken care of every morning and evening that they will be charged both for the day they are dropped off and the day they are picked up if they are not picked up by 9:30 AM.

We feed Purina's
Veterinary Diets to all boarders in accordance with it's age and
weight. If you wish we will gladly feed your pet's own
diet. We also can take
care of all your pet's medication needs while staying with
us. Perscription diets and medications will not be given
without Veterinary authorization. There will be a charge of
$1.00/day for medicating any pet when the owner provides the
medication. We offer individualized attention and care to each pet
staying with us. We pride ourselves in this. At White
Pine our trained staff is always alert to any unusual signs.
Should any appear, your pet will be examined immediately by the
doctor on duty. |
You may also
authorize medical treatment like Dental Care, Routine
Surgery, Exams, Vaccinations and Laboratory work for your
pet during its stay with us. If your pet has had surgery or
medical treatment during its stay at White Pine and you wish to
discuss your pet's condition, continued treatment and home care
with the doctor please allow time for this at time of
discharge. |

We have 13 cat/small
dog cages and 15 large dog kennels for Boarding. Each kennel/run
measures approximately 3 feet by 7 feet. During the summer months
and on warm winter days the dogs have access to an equally large
run in a breezeway connected to their run. |

Dogs are given 5-10
minutes outside in an enclosed run (12x 24 feet) twice a day for
fresh air and to stretch their legs, while their inside kennel is
being sterilized. Our kennel staff will happily take your pet for a
10 minute extended walk twice a day for an additional
$6.00/ upon request. The kennel books up quickly
around major holidays so please call well in advance when
possible. |
Vaccine Policy Required Vaccines: White Pine
requires current immunizations of the following: Dogs: Cats: If your pet has received its immunizations
at our hospital we will consider your records as proof of
vaccination; otherwise, we ask you please bring certificates of
vaccination to be kept on file during your pet's stay with us.
There will be no exception to this rule. This is important for the
health of your pet and those of others staying with us. If your pet
comes to board with us and is due for a vaccination we will be
happy to give the vacccine at the time of boarding. |
